2022 NYSFOLA Conference – Call For Presentations

The New York State Federation of Lake Associations, Inc. is seeking abstracts for their 38th annual conference. The conference is titled ‘Maximizing Your Lake Data’. The central theme of the conference is the use of monitoring data in the management and protection of lakes. The conference draws a diverse audience of lakeside property owners, lake management professionals, researchers, policy makers, and students.  The conference is scheduled to take place at the Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center in Lake George on April 29-30, 2022, but may transition to a virtual or hybrid format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are accepting submission of abstracts for oral presentations that center on the collection and use of long term monitoring data in the management and protection of freshwater lakes and ponds. Other lake related topics will be considered, but preference will be given to those oriented around the use of lake and watershed monitoring data. Presenters will be allotted approximately 20-30 minutes, including time for questions. We are still working on the program.
