What is NYSFOL?
The New York State Federation of Lakes, Inc. (NYSFOL) is a separate corporate entity from the New York State Federation of Lake Associations, Inc. (NYSFOLA). NYSFOL was incorporated at the same time as NYSFOLA (1983) but as a 501(c)4 not-for-profit corporation rather than a 501(c)3. While not highly active, it continues to serve as the advocacy “arm” for our membership with regard to important lake related issues.
