Lake Association  members include lake associations from all across the state.  Our members can be found on small kettle ponds in Suffolk County, large Finger Lakes, lakes in the Adirondack Park, and lakes in urban and suburban settings.

Some of the associations are large and incorporated. Others are small fishing and boating clubs or other recreational organizations.  We offer different levels of membership for various sizes and types of lake associations.

  • Small Association (10-74 members) $50
  • Medium Association (75-149 members) $100
  • Large Association (150 or more members) $175

Lake Foundations ($100) –  Many of our member lake associations have created separate “funding” arms in the form of not-for-profit foundations.  In most cases, both the lake association and the correlating foundation find it desirable to join NYSFOLA.

Individual Membership-NYSFOLA Member Lake Association ($15) – Individuals who are also members of a NYSFOLA lake association often want to show their support for the statewide organization, be on our mailing list, and receive their own copy of our newsletter “Waterworks.”

Individual Membership-Not Affiliated with a NYSFOLA Member Lake Association ($25) – Individuals can also join NYSFOLA even if they are not part of a NYSFOLA lake association.

Corporate Membership ($250) –  Many businesses offer lake-related products and services.  They show their support of our organization by becoming NYSFOLA corporate members.  Many of these businesses are also exhibitors at our annual conference and further help to sustain our mission.  Note:  Products and services offered by corporate members are not necessarily endorsed by the NYSFOLA Board of Directors or staff.  Lake associations are encouraged to seek references and check with permitting agencies before purchasing.

Current NYSFOLA Lake Association & Corporate Members and Links to member websites: If a member lake association has a website, we have provided the link.  We try to keep as many links up-to-date as possible.  Please let us know if one doesn’t work.  You can also find many of our members on facebook.
